BLOKKZ - Woodworker’s Drill Press Centering Jig
Holiday Special $149.94
Reg. Price $199.94
NOW with a Pair of Flat Jaws & L Jaws Used for On Edge Drilling![]()
The Woodworker's Drill Press Centering Jig allows woodworkers to easily drill centered holes and offset holes in various shapes of material with one setup. Any material that will fit within the jaws can be drilled with perfectly centered holes provided that material being drilled allows it (grainy or out of square rectangular or square stock will of course affect the results).
The Woodworker's Drill Press Centering Jig is first centered by inserting a centering pin in the drill press chuck, which can be any round metal rod the user may have or can make from the shank of a round bolt, positioning the jig, and then clamping the jig to the drill press table.
Once the Woodworker's Drill Press Centering Jig is properly centered the user will be able to drill centered holes and evenly offset holes regardless of the width of the material as long as the material it fits within the jaws.
An easily removed stainless steel stop-rod allows the user to position the work for repetitive drilling.
Also included is a readily accessed wrench for aligning the stop rod’s coupling nut and for locking down the jig’s jaws as needed.
The Woodworker's Drill Press Centering Jig is made of aluminum, steel, nylon and bronze components on a marine-grade polymer base with a hold-down handle made of Ash.
All the aluminum extrusions have been precision machined for accurate results.
Maximum jaw opening : with bar jaw = 3 ¾”.
Maximum jaw opening : with angle jaw = 3 1/4”.

I have had about a week to play around with this jig. It gave me a good excuse to check the setup of my drillpress. The jig seems to be constructed out of good quality materials and works as advertised. you need filler blocks if you are doing short pieces so they sit level and flat for drilling. I like this jig even though it's not cheap, but not outrageous. One thing to remember, jig needs to be recentered each time you put it on. I will not be leaving it on since it is for a specialized purpose.

Very good results obtained- strong quality materials- easy to set up- easy to use.
I make a lot of small toys that need side holes. This fits the bill. Only two minor
notes- due to the 13/32" rod coupler, I will have to shim 1/4" & 3/8" wood and when drilling small lengths I will shim the gap above the sacrificial wood block- it cocks on the end rails that are slightly higher. But I realize this is out of the scope of the engineering intent of this product.
